UoM Sport is recruiting Sport Coordinators for the next academic year. These roles oversee the annual campus sport leagues and the Sporticipate programme. Each year UoM Sport engages over 13,000 students and staff in a range of sport, physical activity, and wellbeing sessions delivered across campus. The Sport Coordinators work with the Recreational Sport Coordinator to manage the various leagues and provide opportunities to engage those who wouldn’t get involved in our wider sport or physical activity programmes.

The Coordinator roles are linked with specific leagues, or the Sporticipate programme. The roles have the opportunity to work with colleagues across the sport department to support other programmes and initiatives, as well as supporting with mass participation events such as the PurpleWave, open days and welcome week. 

This roles will offer the opportunity to gain experience in managing large projects in a large multi-faceted organisation as well as exposure to sport development, sport programme administration and marketing and communications. General administrative skills will be developed which are transferable across the sector and will enable applied experience and understanding should a candidate be interested in learning more about the sport sector.

This roles are casual and for 20-25 weeks of the academic year, ranging from 4-8hrs per week. They are open to any students studying in the 24/25 year. Details of roles available are below. All information, job description and application process can be found here.
