Activity Description:-

Iyengar for healthy backs Yoga

is a stimulating form of exercise whereby postures, or asanas, stimulate the whole body, toning muscles, improving posture, increasing circulation, invigorating the nerves and organs and restoring strength and stamina bringing vitality to the body.

Learning about the alignment of postures, asanas, brings concentration and clarity to the mind whilst exercising the physical body. Iyengar Yoga will keep you healthy and active in both the emotional and physical sense.

This session will explore the alignment of the body to bring about an overall sense of balance in our lives, leaving us feeling energised yet relaxed.

Yin Yoga with Gong

Yin Yoga targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, the deep fascia networks of the body and the meridians.

It is a practice that aids healing by synchronising our brain and restoring balance & harmony in our human system.

As you hold each pose you are bathed in the sounds and vibrations of gongs, It is a sound bath that creates profound relaxation particularly in each pose held.

Gong Bath Meditations alter brain wave patterns from the Beta (waking state) to Theta & Delta (meditative) states. Science teaches that meditative brain frequencies enable us to access our deeper subconscious and superconscious, which are key states for healing.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

This flow focusses on the correct alignment bring all moves to a gentle flow from standing to seated, to lying, the aim is to flow together postures to all the postures, so the moves become seamless from one to another.

It’s a breath-initiated practice that connects every action of our life with the intention of moving towards to what is most important to us

Final session Gong Bath

For our final session you are invited to this Relaxing Gong Sound Bath – just relax in a comfortable position lying for a one-hour immersion in healing sound where gong practitioner Jane Blackburn plays the gongs to activate their full sonic potential and bathes the listener in waves of golden harmonics. Listeners sense of connectedness and peace as the gongs clear blockages and restore the free flow of vital life energy. Listeners often describe seeing beautiful colours behind their eyes, images, and symbols. Gong sound can be used to re-balance and tone the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects. Excellent for de-stressing, depression, fatigue, loneliness, and good for more balance and harmony.
