We still have places on all our group exercise courses held at the Wellbeing rooms on the main campus, our classes cater for all levels, and all the sessions are taught by highly qualified teachers who can adapt sessions to suit individuals.
What are the benefits of group fitness classes?
Group exercise is great for meeting new people, having fun, feeling good and getting fit all rolled into one and this is just the psychology effects, the physical aspects of group fitness can improve your cardiovascular system, strengthen and tone muscles and with a combination of all this movement and social interaction it helps to maintain a healthy body weight, lowers blood cholesterol levels, lowers the risk of type 2 diabetes, increases bone and muscle strength, improves mobility and flexibility and you are less likely to suffer injury or illness if you are regularly active.
