About the Club

The club is top 10 at BUCS longcourse & shortcourse and that our 1st team came 4th at BUCS Teams

The club is made up of two parts: the competitive squad and the recreational squad.

The competitive squad competes for the university throughout the year, at 2 BUCS Championships at Ponds Forge Shefeld, BUCS Teams, and the Christie Cup. They compete three times a week in the pool with additional land training sessions.

The recreational end is more relaxed in comparison to the competitive squad, catering for people of all abilities that have a desire to improve their swimming. They train twice with optional land training sessions.

Club Philosophy

We are a sports club that’s passionate about having fun whilst performing at our best. We believe that team spirit and supporting each other is highly important for gaining the best results no matter the standard of the swimmer.

We want everyone to feel part of the swimming family in and out of the pool through both our sporting and social events. We are the loudest supporters at BUCS each year and we value this title as highly as our other achievements such as club of the year in both 2012 and 2014.
