About the Club

SKUM is a club for everyone. We have multiple race and freestyle teams in both Ski and Snowboard, as well as Ladies teams.

We train either every week or every two weeks, on both snow (SnoZone Castleford) and dry slope (Rossendale and Stoke Ski Centres).

With over 800 members last year, we are one of Manchester’s largest clubs and we are always on the look out for new snowsports enthusiasts, whether you have raced (or even skied) or not! There's a place for you!

Club Philosophy

SKUM work hard and play harder. Whilst running incredibly successful ski and snowboard teams in both race and freestyle, we are also far more than solely a ski club!

We run two amazing holidays a year, taking over 500 SKUMmers on a holiday of a lifetime. SKUM also has its own merchandise range that is instantly recognizable around uni.

For beginners, we'll be offering lessons at a Snozone Castleford, and take you over there ourselves on minibuses.

SKUM runs a full social schedule, having socials roughly once a week, which are legendary around Manchester!

All of that in Manchester's biggest and best society!

Teams

Individual Race and Freestyle Events.
