About the Club

Whether you want to get fit, ride socially, learn how to race, ride in a velodrome, enjoy mountain biking or just enjoy riding your bike Manchester is the best place to do it.

We take full advantage of the areas around us; with road rides on both Wednesday and Saturday heading out into the Peaks or Cheshire, weekly track sessions at the Manchester Velodrome and weekly mountain bike rides heading out to the nearest trail.

Throughout the year there are multiple weekend trips for the club, be it Scotland or Sheffield and even a week-long training camp for the roadies in Southern France or the North of Spain.

Club Philosophy

UoM Cycling is a club for all abilities and interests. Whether you enjoy riding up or down mountains, want to experience riding on the road and track or simply want to get a bit fitter whilst socialising they can guarantee they’ve got something to get your wheels rolling!

Road: Road Races, Criteriums, Time Trials and Hill Climbs (BUCS, British Cycling and CTT).

(All Road and Track BUCS teams are based upon selection due to the limited number of entries. Otherwise all members are able to race regionally and nationally in Manchester colours in British Cycling and CTT organised races.)
