About
We currently offer cue sports through our sport club programme. Our University of Manchester Cue Sports Club works hard to provide opportunities for players both new to the sport and within our BUCS programme to support those who want to perform in high level university competition. Whilst we don’t currently offer cue sports through our Sporticipate or our Sport League programmes, we are constantly reviewing how we can get more students involved in sport.

Cue Sports Club
Whether you’ve never picked up a cue or you’re a budding Ronnie O’ Sullivan, we have opportunities for everyone. For those looking to take their game to the next level, we compete in many tournaments throughout the year in three disciplines: 8-Ball, American 9-Ball, and Snooker. If you’re wanting to play socially for fun we also have various relaxed evenings with access to tables so why not bring a friend. If this sounds like your thing, come along, have fun, and try to make your mark as the next King or Queen of the baize.
Club Philosophy
We aim to promote all cue sports in a manner which is fun and open to all. We welcome players of all abilities and backgrounds, helping them escape from the pressures of university life. The club aims high but does not sacrifice what makes it so great, its inclusive and friendly atmosphere with a competitive edge.

Teams
Teams are selected as and when needed for individual tournaments. We can send up to 4 teams of 5/6 players to tournaments.
