About the Club

MUCC is focused around providing a cheap and relaxed way to enter the exciting sport of kayaking; this includes weekly training on whitewater rivers around the country, competing in national Canoe Slalom competitions and local and national Canoe Polo tournaments.

The club also provides the facilities for experienced paddlers to expand their skillset and gain coaching qualifications through the club.

Finally, the regular and renound MUCC socials bring all aspects of the club together as one happy family!

Club Philosophy

MUCC is all about discovering a new sport and a new family during university. Everyone is welcome at each training session, event or social that the club holds and the comradery amongst members cannot be rivalled!

As a sport society, the club competes at a high level at three BUCS events annually, improving results year-on-year; however, MUCC’s great success is in the progression of both new and experienced paddlers in their ability.

This culminates in competing in regular events and gaining valuable qualifications. MUCC never take themselves seriously and invite everyone to join in the fun!
